Phoenix VA medical director Michael Welsh said the date when the full inspection of the nursing home will be completed and when residents can move back in is currently unknown. Arizona State Veteran Home-Phx is a nursing homes facility located in Phoenix, AZ. This state-owned and operated facility is set between the Carl T. The 200 beds are divided into 150 long-term care beds, a 25-bed memory care unit, and a 25-bed Medicare/rehab-focused unit. Further investigation in the facility showed more rats on the second floor, which was not occupied by residents.
